With an amazingly special ceremony and fun family oriented time full of rejoicing and love. Its always a delight to meet new couples, hear their love story and then be there to preserve the memories for one of the most important days of their lives. These two's passion for God and each other is inspiring... I run out of words, it is my I hope the photos will speak for themselves. Melissa shared with me some words about how special it was to be married in the church her husband grew up in and she is now a part of; "Our favorite part of the marriage was definitely the ceremony. It was special because my husband grew up at the church and was personally trained by Pastor Ken who got to watch him grow up, and then marry us! I loved how glorifying it was to the Lord, and how much of the work of Christ in our lives was brought to center stage. It made all of the waiting worth it." For their couples portraits they choose to go back to the very place he proposed on the night they got engaged, this made them so very extra special! God bless your marriage! You two have a life time of joy ahead of you! "Aura was a great choice to be my wedding photographer! Shes definitely not afraid of the cold or to climb on top of things! She was very good at just going with the flow of things and getting action shots. I loved how natural it was. Since my wedding was at night and we were taking the pictures at night, I thought this would be a problem especially since we wanted pictures outside, but she personally brought all of the right equipment to make that work for me, which I am very thankful for! the pictures came out great, and I love the online gallery and all of the options there are. So blessed by her service!" ~Melissa
My personal project of taking a picture every day for a year is going well, this last week ai missed a few days but thats okay It was bound to happen. These last two weeks we got more snowfall combined than any previous winter we can remember, we are up to our necks in snow and we are waiting for spring. Lots of Homeschooling and snow playing with a birthday and a Valentines Day party these pass two weeks. She is the bunny whisperer and he loves his "mommy." We like big breakfasts and reading aloud stories theres a lot of that around here. I little green to break up all of the white... I need lots of color in winter. Nachos and Valentine card making chaos! My rabbit lover girl made such a creative box for her Valentines! We had a super fun party with all of our homeschooling buddies! Its always so fun to get together and see what everyone comes up with. I love the full moon in the winter. I had to go out and see If I could capture the light and shadows on the snow. This was handheld with my ISO's at 5000, f2.8, 1/5. It took a few tries, not too many came out, focusing was hard, but I got this little gem; a fun little latenight adventure. This was not quite the 42nd day as it was before midnight but who's keeping track anyway?! My Baby turned 14! we had a big breakfast instead of our usual big dinner since it was on a Monday and was a snow day that day. My boys are becoming men this year as they shovel and bring in wood all the time, its so great to witness. So much snow!!! Have a nice next few weeksas we get closer to March and closer to spring!
Yay, I made it a whole month! What is that about if you do something for 28 days it becomes a habit? Well I still have to purposely pick up my camera everyday, but it is getting easier to remember to do so. Trying to make it interesting from one day to the next is the challenge! Big sister helping little sister finish her nature house project with a miniature brick path. I set up the camera to take a self portrait of motherhood...a daily occurrence me reading to the kids, we are currently reading the Green Ember, a nice engaging rabbit adventure story. Our Birthday Girl! I am naughty and forgot candles...good thing I had two random "8" candles found in the junk drawer...perfect 8x2 =16 When a friend comes to visit it is always a great opportunity to introduce them to our bunnies. This was exciting! We were expecting this for her for Christmas, she was so happy to receive an autographed record from her favorite band. These nectarines were so beautiful, I have never seen any citrus fruit with leaves in the grocery store, I was amazed but the contrast of colors and had to buy them. After I brought them home, I just wanted to stare at them, not letting anyone eat them for a few days so I could enjoy them. A great by product of our citrus fruits, peel candy. The color was lovely in the morning light. And last but not least, The daily chore of bringing in the wood....
Heres to another week of chores ahead of us :). |
